EASA prides itself on making an impact related to socio-economic development and supporting government-driven initiatives aimed at reducing youth unemployment and increasing skills shortages. Annually, we take on unemployed learners and provide them with workplace experience in our MTN call centre, as well as provide them with training that results in a recognised qualification. At the end of the one-year learnership programme, we aim to place as many unemployed learners in permanent roles at the company. Further to this, we also participate in and support the government-driven Yes 4 Youth programme, which aims to reduce youth unemployment. We provide workplace experience to our learners, with the aim of placing them in permanent employment at the end of their learnership programme.

Employees are developed from the time they enter the organisation. On-going training through our local, as well as global training platforms, provide each employee with access to a multitude of training courses aimed at improving personal and work performance. Development lies at the heart of our business, as this is vital to ensure that we uphold our motto and promise to our employees and customers: You Live, We Care!
